Football is a game of passes and techniques, passion and love, more importantly, unity is the key---the whole team working as one, united they will never be defeated.

The European’s style. of play is like a Waltz, the Brazilian like a Samba, and the passionate Argentineans play as if they are doing a Tango. Football is so unpredictable, so unbelievable. You will never know who will win until the last minute. Especially when suddenly there is a goal, the fans who have been sitting on the edge of their seats, will be wild with joy and excitement; and the losers with disappointed hearts will despair over their teams.

The other is of course the super stars. Each one has his own personality, just like my idol Ronaldo. When he smiles, we all smile with him. Who can forget that buck-toothed smile, or that unique hairstyle. during the 20xx World Cup. Ronaldo was born to a poor family. when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.

When he fails he tries again and again until he wins. A final reason is that confident people are not afraid to show off their achievements. This is not to say that they should brag, but that they should gracefully and confidently accept the compliments of others. When their achievements are noticed more by others at school or work, they are more likely to succeed.

In short, I believe self-confidence to be the most important factor in success. It enables people to take risks, try again when they fail, and enjoy their accomplishments when they win. With these abilities, a confident person can succeed easily at school or work.

The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

愛因斯坦的“相對論”發表之後，有人曾炮製了一本《百人駁相對論》，網羅了一批所謂名流對這一理論進行聲勢浩大的撻伐。可是，愛因斯坦自信自己的理論必然勝利，對噠伐不屑一顧。他說：“假如我的理論是錯的，一個人反駁就夠了，一百個零加起來還是零。”他堅定了必勝的信念，堅持研究，終於使“相對論”成為20世紀的偉大理論，為世人所矚目。

同學們，或許我們無法成為像愛因斯坦一樣成為為社會做出極大貢獻的人。但我們依舊應該向他一樣自信的面對一切，面對困難，面對挫折。

居里夫人說過：“我們應該有恆心，尤其要有自信心!我們必須相信，我們的天賦是要用來做某種事情的，無論發生什麼事情，活著的人總要照常工作。”正是自信，支援她在經受了失戀、喪夫、社會上的流言蜚語等打擊之後，兩次榮獲了諾貝爾獎，為人類的科學事業做出了巨大的貢獻。

我堅信，自信是一種力量，一種引領我們堅持的力量。無論身處順境，還是逆境，都應該微笑地，平靜地面對人生，有了自信，生活便有了希望。“天生我材必有用”，哪怕命運之神一次次把我們捉弄，只要擁有自信，擁有一顆自強不息、積極向上的心，成功遲早會屬於你的。

我想起了毛澤東，在抗日戰爭勝利後到重慶與介石談判，期間發表一首著名的詩篇：《沁園春.雪》，讓介石大怒，彙集很多詩人編詩，要搶佔鰲頭，卻一敗塗地。毛澤東以激昂文字，指點江山，奪得了中國革命的勝利!在這裡，我想告訴大家的是，我對語文的學習，也有一個認知的過程。開始我以為語文不用學，誰不會說中國話?在學習中，我開始認識到學語文的重要性。我在語文課中，不僅學到了寫作、閱讀、分析，好學到了很多道理。我愛語文課了!

前不久，我讀了一則童話故事，它是英國作家王爾德寫的《巨人的花園》。故事講的是一個巨人看到孩子們在自己的花園裡玩耍，很生氣，他在花園周圍築起了高牆，將孩子們拒於牆外。從此以後，園裡花不開，鳥不語，一片荒涼，春夏秋都不肯光臨，只有冬天永遠留在這裡。一天，孩子們從牆洞爬進來，春天也就跟著孩子們來了，園裡立刻變得生機勃勃。當他把孩子們再次趕出花園之後，花園又被冰雪覆蓋了。後來，在小男孩的啟發下，巨人醒悟了，隨即拆除了圍牆，花園成了孩子們的樂園，巨人生活在漂亮的花園和孩子們中間，感到無比地幸福……

王爾德的這個快樂故事，讓我的心久久不能平靜，那個巨人，他兩次的自私與冷酷給花園帶來了冰雪寒冬，讓孩子們失去歡樂的同時，他自己也同樣孤單寂寞，更享受不到花園裡明媚的景色!我們常說：“贈人玫瑰，手有餘香”。其實，快樂也一樣，給別人快樂，自己也快樂。

我還記得這樣幾句名言：“把你的痛苦與人分享，你的痛苦將會減少一半;把你的快樂與人分享，你的快樂將增加一倍。”是啊，分享快樂不會使自己損失什麼，卻能讓這個世界充滿溫情。相反，有了快樂，一個人獨樂，最終也不會快樂。

與別人一起分享快樂是一種美德，因為快樂能夠傳染。其實很多時候，與別人分享快樂，既是給了別人一個機會，也是給了自己一個機會;既給了別人一個好心情，自己也留下了一份好心情。

既然這樣，那麼請開啟你的心靈，真誠地與別人分享吧——自己是一團火，就要想法把別人點亮;自己是一盆水，就要想法把別人洗淨;自己是一粒米，就要想法長出更大的稻穗;自己是一彎月，就要想法給夜行人送去清輝……與人共享快樂，你也會更加快樂!
