媽祖廟

清光緒年間，海南省有位遊方道人吳華存遊遍海南諸島，尋訪煉丹修身之處，最終看中了蜈支州島的風水，欲在此結廬而居，煉丹修身。此事，被當時的崖州知府鍾元棣獲悉，隨即他也來到蜈支州島，看到如此美麗的小島和絕佳的風水後，他認為這塊寶地不應為個人所用，理應造福於民。於是他制止了吳道人的行為，由州府集資在島上修建了一處庵堂，取名“海上涵三觀”，供奉的是中國方塊漢字的創造者倉頡，這在國內是非常少見的，理應在海南的文化史上書上一筆。建庵時間史公元1893年，距今已有100多年的歷史。清政府倒臺後，庵堂無人管理，漁民不知所供何神，遂推倒塑像，改奉自己的航海保護神媽祖。原建廟宇早已坍塌破敗，1993年島嶼的開發建設者又將其重建。
