關於個人禮儀的基本特徵

個人禮儀的基本特徵概括起來講有5個方面：

第一，以修養為基礎。個人禮儀不是簡單的個人行為表現，而是個人的公共道德修養在社會活動中的體現，它反映的是一個人內在的品格與文化修養。若缺乏內在的修養，個人禮儀對個人行為的具體規定，也就不可能自覺遵守、自願執行。只有“誠於中”方能“行於外”，因此個人禮儀必須以個人修養為基礎。

第二，以個人為支點。個人禮儀是對社會成員個人自身行動的種種規定，而不是對任何社會組織或其他羣體行為的限定。但由於每個羣體都是由一定數量的個體所組成的，每一個社會組織也都是由一定數量的組織成員所構成的。因此，個人行為的良好與否將直接影響着任一羣體、社會組織乃至整個社會的生存與發展。從此意義看，我們強調個人禮儀，規範個人行為，不僅是為了提高個人自身的內在涵養，更重要的是為了促進社會發展的有序與文明。

第三，以尊敬為原則。在社會活動中，講究個人禮儀，自覺按個人禮儀的諸項規定行事，必須奉行尊敬他人的原則。“敬人者，人恆敬之”，只有尊敬別人，才能贏得別人對你的尊敬。在社會主義條件下，個人禮儀不僅體現了人與人之間的相互尊重和友好合作的新型關係，而且還可以避免或緩解某些不必要的個人或羣體的衝突。

第四，以美好為目標。遵循個人禮儀，尊重他人的原則，按照個人禮儀的文明禮貌標準行動，是為了更好地塑造個人的自身形象，更充分地展現個人的精視風貌。個人禮儀教會人們識別美醜，幫助人們明辨是非，引導人們走向文明，它能使個人形象日臻完美，使人們的生活日趨美好。因此，我們説，個人禮儀是以“美好”為目標的。

第五，以長遠為方針。個人禮儀的確會給人們以美好，給社會以文明，但所有這一切，都不可能立竿見影，也不是一日之功所能及的，必須經過個人長期不懈的努力和社會持續不斷的發展，因此，對個人禮儀規範的掌握切不可急於求成，更不能有急功近利的思想。
