“人生自古谁无死，留取丹心照汗青”这句话是南宋时期的民主英雄和爱国诗人文天祥说的。北宋政治家范仲淹也说过：“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐”。可现代人都不屑什么爱国不爱国的，都本着“事不关己，己不为人”的错误观念，认为只要认真赚钱，只要有钱了，自己就能过上好日子了。却不知，如果国家不安定，天天与别国械斗，今天被别国的原子弹打掉了大片地区，明天又要用氢弹去打别国，然后后天又被打……这样反反复复地打来打去，个人能有安宁吗?

我们中华民族受尽了屈辱，可是红军奇迹般的走过了二万五千里长征。经历了八年抗战，迎来了新中国的成立。

每当我看着冉冉升起的五星红旗，每每我的心中会回响起“我是中国人”这句话。

20__年，北京申奥成功，这是人们百年的梦啊!在那天圆了。20__年10月15日9时整，神州五号载人飞船发射成功，将“中国航天第一人”杨利伟送入太空。这是科学家们智慧的结晶呀!在那一天证明了。20__年神州六号双人载人飞船升上了天空，又让中国科技向前一步。20__年“嫦娥”一号卫星发射成功。20__年，翟志刚在太空中留下中国人的足迹，中国又向前迈了一大步。

还记得20__年吗?非典来袭。当时冲在最前面.处境最危险的是科技人员和医务工作者，许多医务工作人员为了取得这场战斗的胜利，永远的离开了我们。他们的死重于泰山，人们永远铭记……

20__年5月12日，这个让我们永远难忘，痛彻心肺的日子。在那一刻，国人又一次唤醒了，中国已不像从前那样是一盘散沙，现在中国人凝聚在一起像一块无法摧毁的磐石，任何困难都打不倒中国。

悲伤过后，我们迎来了举国上下值得欢庆的日子。20__年8月8日奥运会在北京召开，那是中华民主百年的梦啊!在一百多年前有一份报章问了三个问题，其中一问：中国人什么时候可以办奥运会?这不仅是报刊的问题，也是全中国人民提出的问题。就在此时此刻我们对这个问题已经做出了回答。
